Platte Canyon Rail Line. Parker depot dismantled. |
| * May 28 - Tornado hits Castle Rock, damaging Douglas
County High School (on Wilcox), the Episcopal Church, several residences,
the D&RG toolhouse, the Standard Garage, Kroll's Grocery, the Cottage
Hotel and a metal tower with the fire bell attached to it. The nearby
