.....Originally a log cabin dating to the early 1880's, the East Cherry School (District 22) was replaced by a larger building in 1914. It was a one room structure located near the south west corner of the intersection of East Cherry Creek Road and Jones Road (#81) in Section 20, Township 10 South Range 66 West The school is also sometimes called the Aulsebrook School, after Alexander Aulsebrook, on whose property the school sat. 1877 - Miss Rachel Trail |
