"Union Pacific" painted on the side and UP shield logo on the front. Front engine is numbered 6013, second engine is numbered 9095. Third engine is painted black with "Southern Pacific" painted on the side (no number). Train is pulling boxcars full of coal south through downtown Castle Rock, CO looking northeast. Plum Creek Boulevard exit from Interstate 25, Philip S. Miller Administration Building, Castle Rock (rock formation) and the town of Castle Rock are visible in the distance.
