Stone Sedalia school, built in 1891 looking south. An addition was built in 1912, which does not appear in the photograph. The building is on Rio Grande Avenue between Huxtable and Curtis Streets. The building is one story with a pitched roof and a chimney. A wooden vestibule is visible in front of the door (on the north side). Three windows on the west side of the building. Eleven children and three adult women stand in front of the building. One child is sitting on a donkey. A dog stands in front of the group.
