Front view of the Whittier House on 4th and Perry Streets in Castle Rock,
Colorado. Picket fence with gate and corner post stands in front of one
story, side gabled house with chimney, two double hung windows in the front
and a screen door with transom in the center. On the side of the house are
two windows, and a lean-to addition with a door. The building is made of
wood with gingerbread shingles in the gable. Two seasonal trees stand at
the front of the house. Pictured are(from left): Sarah Whittier, Clarence
Whittier, Washington Irving (W.I.) Whittier and Clara Whittier Waldron.
