Halftone image. "Reistle" written in bottom left corner of print. W.F. Pierce Store. One story wooden clapboard structure with false front. Addition on the back has a chimney. Building is on the northwest corner of 3rd Street and Perry Street in Castle Rock. One window (with shutter) on the side of the building. Painted sign on the side of the building reads "W. F. Pierce General Merchandise." Front of the building has false front, large windows and recessed entrance. Platform sidewalk in front of the building. Top of the false front has decorative trim and painted sign that reads: "W. Pierce, Grocery" Small advertising signs are attached to the building, and the windows feature displays. Small attached building on the north side has similar false front but no windows. Trees in the area are seasonal. Dirt sidewalks with wooden crossovers for the "curb" between the street and the sidewalk. Douglas County Courthouse is visible in the background.
