Abstract:KNRX was a radio station, formerly known as KYBG, which operated a transmitter northeast of Franktown in the mid 1990's. KNRX's target audience was centered in the area around Castle Rock, but reached from downtown Denver to the Air Force Academy north of Colorado Springs. As of 1999, the station had changed to a Spanish-Language format.

Collection retains the original order established by the donor.

Scope and Content

The collection consists entirely of a public inspection file, documents which the Federal Communications Commission requires each commercial radio and television station make available to the public. Most of the documents relate to the establishment of the station, an addition to the radio tower northeast of Franktown, establishment of the ownership of the station, and agreements and regulations covering the broadcasting of political ads. The file is a copy, as the original is retained by Century Denver Broadcasting.
